Acquisition of Don Richardson Limited

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve completed the acquisition of Don Richardson Limited – the Autoglym Professional distributor for the North West of England and North Wales.

This actually took place earlier this month, but as you might imagine… it’s been a busy few weeks!

For those who don’t know, Don Richardson Limited is one of the original Autoglym franchisees, established back in 1967 – just two years after Autoglym was founded. Since then, it’s built a fantastic reputation for service, product knowledge, and customer loyalty.

Andy Richardson, who joined the family business in 1986, has led the business for many years with passion and integrity – growing a loyal client base and continuing the strong family legacy.

It’s a real privilege to now be the custodian of such a well known and respected name, and I’m fully committed to doing both the Don Richardson and Autoglym brands proud.

I’ve inherited a phenomenal team – most of whom have been here over a decade, with one team member passing the 20-year mark. Their knowledge, professionalism, and customer-first mindset are second to none.

A huge thank you to Jonathan Levey and Gavin Timoney for believing in my vision and supporting this next step. I’m looking forward to working closely with you and the wider Autoglym franchise network.
